A leading distributor of jewellery are looking for a Supervisor to lead a team responsible for packing and shipping orders. This would be an ideal position for someone currently working in retail and looking for the chance to move to an office based position, dealing with high end jewellery.
This position will include;
Supervising a team and distributing work loads
Picking and packing stock ready for distribution
Ensuring deadlines are met at all times
Processing orders using Sage 200 and booking couriers
Speaking with customers and dealing with any stock control problems
Working in line with policies and procedures
Training team members and ensuring compliance to procedure at all times
Liaising with customers on stock and deliveries
Assisting in stock takes as required
Provide support to other teams as required
Experience of supervising a team is essential
Good systems knowledge - Sage would be an advantage
Good people skills and an excellent communicator
Experience of dealing with stock levels
